It will be fun and fulfilling and daring and crazy and amazing. There will be love and heartbreak, drama and hurt. It will be hard. But I am so looking forward to it because it means I will be free. Free of having to deal with the stress of being forced to be with the same people everyday. Free of restrictions. I can do what I want, when I want. I won’t have to deal with high school drama, I won’t have to deal with silly crushes.

I will have a life, and it will be fantastic. I cannot wait.

Until then, I will be happy with what I have.

At this moment in time, there are multiple things in my bag that are quite random:

My wallet, Blackberry, iPod, umbrella, The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill, interm report for math, a piece of paper with instructions on how the H Pylori test goes, calculator, pencil case, lipgloss, Tylenol, braces elastics, toothbrush, toothpaste, and various hair accessories.

Day 26- What you think about your friends

I love my friends, there are a few who are kind of annoying, but I’m not one who can drop friends easily. It takes a lot for me to cut friends out of my life and there has to be an incredibly good reason for it to happen. Most of the time, they come back anyway.

Day 27- Why are you doing this 30 day challenge

I’m doing this 30 day challenge because I wanted to start blogging more and get into the habit of it. That’s still impossible for me obviously, but I’m working on it.

 
Day 28- A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?

I’ve lost weight (yay!), braces were installed (boo!), my hair is shorter, I’ve matured more than I thought I would, and I got a job.

I’m now ready to be out there in the world, travelling and meeting new people. Last year I wasn’t, but now I really just want to go.

I guess, I’ve just grown up. I no longer feel like a naive little girl.

Day 29- In this past month, what have you learned

I’ve learned that I’m not as able to handle stress as well as I though I could.

I’m not actually completely terrible at writing things like I thought I was.

My friends do actually care about my problems and they do care about me as much as I care about them.

My problems are worth talking about and seeking advice for.

I don’t always have to be the one helping others, I can ask for help too.

I do matter. No matter how much I think I’m not important.

Okay, that’s kind of a hard one and I’m going to be a complete nerd and say Elizabeth Bennet. And yes, that is the fictional character in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

Why? Cause she’s just kind of awesome, totally knows what she wants, doesn’t need to have a man in her life to make decisions for her, and completely confident in herself. All things that I want and hope to be like.

Plus, the period she lives in is so interesting to me, and I wish I could have been born then sometimes.
Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have

Plans: Graduate and go to New Zealand next summer or fall

Dreams: Be happy.

Goals: Figure out what’s going on with me health-wise and then work on eating better and getting proper exercise.

All of them are kind of just different versions of my name cause people get too lazy to say it properly.

Well, that’s kind of hard to answer seeing as I’m 17, don’t have a boyfriend, and haven’t had one for two years.

But whoever it is will be awesome, and I will love them. Duh.

I first found out about blogging from my sister, Angella, but I never really had an interest in starting one of my own. I’m not a big writer. (HUGE shocker there… ) It was when my *other* sister decided she was going to New Zealand that I decided I should. Half of that decision was Dayna forcing me to so that she could know what was going on back up here in Canada. Yeah, I didn’t do too good a job of informing her… Oops. (:

I was at work yesterday from 4:30am to 12:45. I’m not as comfortable on bar (making drinks) as I’d like to be so they put me on when it’s slow and then slide me to till when it’s busier. But yesterday, I was on bar when it was slow and then it started to pick up and they let me continue. It was crazy busy for 3 hours straight and I didn’t freak out and/or screw up any drinks at all. I’m quite proud of myself.
